I REALLY enjoyed The Pleasure Seekers. I've known of a number of other bands out of that same late '60s Detroit scene (Alice Cooper, Stooges, MC5, etc.) but I don't think I had ever heard of them before. Of course, I can't think of a time I listened to ORH and DIDN'T say "I haven't heard of this band..."!

Glad you liked The Pleasure Seekers, Bill and I am glad to hear my keeping the freeform flag flying is being appreciated. It was a listener that the pointed out that locally produced Pleasure Seekers compilation, and I have been really enjoying it. In the pas, I have mostly played the Pleasure Seekers off the bootleg vinyl compilation "What a Way To Die" which is an all around excellent potpurri of '60s Detroit rock on Satan Records (http://www.discogs.com/Various-What-A-Way-To-Die/release/1347415)
